In the spirit of creativity and imagination I host the annual Ball. Commedia dell'Arte theme is based off of the Italian medieval festival of street entertainers. This is a dress-up event, so please wear your most inventive costumes and masks.
This year we are blessed to feature the mad cat musical energy of Calgary’s renowned local band: The Plaid Tongued Devil’s. There will be other entertainment as well.
This out of the ordinary, magical evening will be lit by candlelight. There will be dinner, a cash bar, as well as prizes for best mask and costume! Tickets are limited.
Tickets are available at Priddis Valley Gardens and at selected locations in Calgary. Sorry no minors.

$200.00

Date:
Location:
Priddis Valley Gardens
Course outline:
This is my favorite twig furniture project. We start in the morning with a pile of freshly cut branches.
By day’s end everyone is seated in their chair enjoying a glass of vino... (yes wine is included). Adding
to the fun is that everyone’s chair will be different, depending on materials selected & builder preferences
(participants tend to build their personality into their chair). It’s very free form; a great introduction
into the world of rustic furniture. Basic hand tools required.
George Duncan has been building twig/rustic furniture for 20 years. He has instructed courses for City
of Calgary programs, Calgary Board of Education, Okotoks Community Programs, Calgary Horticulture
Society, as well as numerous privately planned workshops. George has given demonstrations at
the Calgary Stampede’s Western Showcase and on The Breakfast Show. His work has been profiled
in the Calgary Herald Home Section.
